  • From Emangre, embark on a guided trek through dense forests trails, immersing yourself in the untouched beauty as you reach the spectacular Wari Chora.
  • Partake in a variety of guided activities as you uncover the surreal Wari Chora. Swim in natural pools and bathe in the tranquility of Meghalaya.
  • After a day filled with adventure, trek back to Emangre, then return by 4×4 vehicle to your homestay in Siju.

  • Along the way, pause at local markets or roadside stalls to pick up fresh fruits, souvenirs, hearty meals or simply stretch and enjoy the vibrant countryside.

We arrange a scenic countryside drive from Guwahati to Siju, which takes around 7–8 hours with a mix of highways and countryside roads. A comfortable vehicle and breaks along the way are part of the journey.

You’ll be staying in a simple, cozy homestay run by local families — expect basic amenities, delicious home-cooked food, and an authentic experience by the river.

The trek is moderate and manageable for those with basic fitness. It includes forest trails, small uphill/downhill sections, and is always guided by locals familiar with the terrain.

Yes, the waters are calm and ideal for beginners. Safety gear like life jackets is provided, and ED guides accompany you throughout.

Swimming in the natural pools is allowed when conditions are safe. Cliff-jumping is possible at select spots for those feeling adventurous, under guide supervision.

Pack light trekking shoes, dry-fit clothes, swimwear, sunscreen, a rain jacket, insect repellent, and a water bottle. A full checklist will be shared in advance.
